Rachel Dax serves a dual role as Co-President of The Intellectual Property Corporation and Executive Vice President, Production at Sony Pictures Television – Nonfiction.
Dax was a key contributor to IPC’s launch, growth, and eventual acquisition by Industrial Media (IM) in 2018 and facilitated the integration of IPC/IM into Sony Pictures Television when they acquired their properties in 2022. She continues day-to-day oversight at IPC and shares in its many successes including multiple Emmy Awards and Nominations, a Peabody Award, Real Screen Awards, PGA Awards, GLAAD Media Awards, MTV Movie and TV Awards, NAACP Image
Award, IDA Awards, Independent Spirit Awards, and more.
Dax is also a member of the executive group tasked to build out Sony’s nonfiction division rounding out their portfolio with a variety of production
companies around the globe. The companies range in size and scope, and produce content in every form of nonfiction programming with more than 100 series across 35 networks. Her primary objective is to support and scale new businesses with success in such companies as This Machine Filmworks and Maxine Productions.
Prior to IPC, Dax had served as Senior Vice President of Production for Endemol Shine USA, formerly Shine America and Head of Production for High Noon Entertainment’s west coast division. Prior to that, she managed and produced numerous top unscripted TV series for Fremantle Media, Bunim-Murray Productions, Evolution and Merv Griffin Entertainment.
